Snow Midday Sunday Into Sunday Evening

The break from snowfall over the past few days will be brief with more snow anticipated from midday Sunday into Sunday evening, mainly across central and northern Iowa. Snowfall amounts from one to three inches will be common with a few accumulations around 4 inches possible north toward the Minnesota border. Winds will be fairly light so blowing snow is not expected to be a problem. Highs Sunday will mainly be in the 20s with lows Sunday Night generally in the teens. Additional snowfall chances are also in the forecast Monday Night and again Wednesday with a push of even colder air to end the work week.
