Confidence continues to increase for a light to moderate snowfall over much of the region Saturday evening and Sunday. At present, a more widespread snow is expected generally 3 to 5 inches in the heavier regions with lighter amounts elsewhere. Though wind is not expected to add to travel challenges with this storm, late night travel and Sunday travel should still be of concern with snow covered roads and some icy patches. Over the south, there may also be some light freezing drizzle Sunday afternoon as the storm begins to slowly pull away from the region.
