Widespread accumulating snow remains on track for Friday into Friday evening. Snow is anticipated to develop late Friday morning over western portions of Iowa and continue to spread east and north through the rest of the morning into the afternoon hours. Blustery winds are forecast to develop by the afternoon and evening and lead to blowing and drifting snow and reduced visibility at times. Expect difficult travel conditions across most of Iowa Friday and even into Saturday morning. Continue to monitor the latest forecast as things will change as we closer to the weekend.
