The Stranger Things writers for Netflix resumed their jobs on Wednesday, 148 days after the Hollywood writers’ strike turned the movie and television industry upside down.

The creators of the popular series shared that their production was postponed because of the strike last May.

At the time, they said, “Writing does not stop when filming begins. While we’re excited to start production with our amazing cast and crew, it is not possible during this strike. We hope a fair deal is reached soon so we can all get back to work. Until then — over and out.”

The show’s account announced, “We’re back,” but production will not start until the actors’ strike is over.
