Stormy Holiday Weekend Ahead

Storm chances and seasonal temperatures continue for Memorial Day Weekend. While the weekend is not expected to be a washout, shower and thunderstorms chances are expected at least for portions of Iowa throughout. Heavy rain may lead to additional river flooding over central Iowa and perhaps localized flash flooding. Should you happen to encounter a flooded roadway, be smart and turn around and seek another route to your destination. Further, if your weekend plans take you camping near a waterway, stay weather aware and have multiple ways to receive weather warnings.
