Yet more snow and even a wintry mix is forecast from late Sunday into Monday across much of Iowa. The greatest potential for moderate to heavy snow will be across north-central and northeastern Iowa, while further southwest a light wintry mix is anticipated. There remains some uncertainty as to the snow amounts particularly along the southwest edge of the snow band. Strong northwest winds will then develop on Monday morning and likely cause blowing and drifting snow throughout the day and even into Monday night, mainly in the areas that receive more accumulation. Then, bitter cold temperatures and wind chills are anticipated throughout the remainder of next week.
