Several rounds of thunderstorms are likely over the Memorial Day weekend. The first will spread from west to east from this evening into Saturday morning, with little threat for severe weather. After a brief respite Saturday afternoon and evening, more rounds of storms are forecast from late Saturday night through Memorial Day. Some of the storms could be strong to severe around Sunday afternoon and evening, with large hail the primary threat. As the weekend progresses, the accumulation of several rounds of rainfall, locally heavy, could lead to minor/isolated flooding.
