⚡⛈ More Thunderstorms Tonight Some Severe

Another round of thunderstorms is expected tonight into Thursday morning, this time with a higher risk of becoming severe.

These storms will begin in western IA around 7 pm and track east through the evening and overnight. Another round of thunderstorms will develop a bit later in the night and last into the early morning hours.

The primary threats will be large hail and strong winds, but a few tornadoes are possible as well.

In addition to the severe impacts, locally heavy rainfall is also expected with these storms.

With severe weather expected overnight, make sure you have multiple ways to receive warnings while asleep!
