The search for the missing Titanic sub ended in tragedy on Thursday.

After finding debris from the sub near the Titanic site, the Coast Guard said it suffered a “catastrophic” implosion, killing all five people on board.

Contact with the sub was cut off on Sunday, about 1 hour and 45 minutes into its dive.

Officials are still working to determine the timeline of what happened. The five people on board include OceanGate CEO Stockton Rush, British billionaire Hamish Harding, wealthy Pakistani businessman Shahzada Dawood and his son Suleman, and the ship’s pilot, Paul-Henry Nargeolet.
