Light To Moderate Snow Today and Tonight

After a break overnight, another low pressure system is expected to bring fairly widespread accumulating snows to Iowa from midday into the evening hours. Much of central and northern Iowa may receive an inch or two, with isolated three inch amounts possible far north toward the Minnesota border. A dusting or less is anticipated across southern Iowa. Visibilities may be reduced during heavier periods of snowfall, but with relatively light winds blowing and drifting snow is not expected to be an issue. Highs today should range from 20 to 30 degrees, with lows tonight in the teens or lower 20s.
